Supergirl reveals thatshe’s had numerous encounters with Brainiac and thanks to the villain’s lack of imagination, he rarely changes the ship’s layout.
Supergirl Reveals Brainiac Has Absolutely No Imagination
Since the Dawn of DC began, Brainiac has been observing the Super-Family while in search of the last pieces of knowledge that elude him. Desperate to know why Earth had a high concentration of metahuman power, Coluan villain gathered the most powerful army he could summon, a group of bloodthirsty Czarnians, and launched an attack on Metropolis. The army tore through the city and managed to capture nearly every metahuman. Only Superman was left standing, forcing the Man of Steel to team up with Lobo. Together, the two embarked on a mission to find Brainiac and recover Superman’s loved ones.
Barring Superman, Supergirl has had the most run-ins with Brainiac and his different forms over the years. It makes sense that Kara’s seen enough of Brainiac’s ships to realize he rarely deviates from his set design to make something new. This isn’t exactly surpising as Brainiac has always been about rules, logic, and ridged order. He’s not the type to impulsively change things on a lark. But Supergirl’s observation is important as this keys in ona specific way that the Super-Family can overcome their current predicament and beat Brainiac for good.

Outside-the-Box Thinking Can Help Supergirl and Her Allies Beat Brainiac
If Brainiac lacks creativity and the Super-Family knows that, then it’s obvious what they need to do: They need to act unpredictably and fight in ways that Brainiac won’t see coming. Brainiac thinks that most life forms are beneath him, but he discounts the very real advantage that creativity is. By thinking outside the box and formulating attacks that defy Brainiac’s calculations, he’ll be at a serious disadvantage, lost and confused over why the heroes aren’t acting the way he predicted. Brainiac might be smart, but asSupergirlpoints out, his lack of creativity is a weak point the team can exploit.
