All Assassin’s Creed Shadows pre-order bonuses and editions
Assassin’s Creed Shadowsfinally takes the stealthy action to feudal Japan and if you act fast, you may get the first expansion completely free as a pre-order bonus.
Originally scheduled for November 2024, its release waspushed backto February 2025, and then one more delay moved it toMarch 20. Ubisoft scrapped the Season Pass model and are instead offering the first expansion to everyone who pre-orders but that’s not all, as the different editions offer even more.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows pre-order bonuses
Pre-ordering any Assassin’s Creed Shadows edition gives you the upcomingClaws of Awaji expansion and the Thrown to the Dogs quest.
Claws of Awaji is a10-hour expansionset on the island of Awaji. It was developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, who madeMirage.
The expansion will be available to buy separately when it releases “later in 2025,” but the bonus quest is only for those who pre-order the game before its release on March 20.
All Assassin’s Creed Shadows editions
The three Assassin’s Creed Shadows editions areStandard, Deluxe, and Collector’s. Here’s what you get in each:
Standard Edition
The standard edition is the cheapest option and includes Assassin’s Creed Shadows on its own, plus the pre-order bonuses if you buy it before March 20.
Target offers a unique steelbook case and if you buy the limited edition from Amazon, you’ll also get the Sekiryu Character Pack for Naoe which includes gear and weapon sets, the Sekiryu Beast Legendary Mount, and Dragon Tooth Trinket.

Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition includes everything in the Standard Edition plus the Sekiryu Character pack for both Naoe and Yasuke, the Sekiryu Hideout pack, and five Mastery Points. The packs include:

If you like, you can only pay for the subscription service for as long as you want to play Assassin’s Creed Shadows, but you’ll lose access when you stop paying.
Collector’s Edition
The Collector’s Edition comes with everything in the Deluxe Edition and physical collectibles including a replica of Naoe’s tsuba (katana sword guard), the map, a 40cm statue of both protagonists, the art book, a wall scroll, and lithographs.
There’s limited stock for this $200 edition so if you want it, make sure you buy it quickly before it sells out.
Is there early access?
No,Assassin’s Creed Shadows doesn’t have early access. The Deluxe and Collector’s editions originally included three days of early access, but that wascanceledalongside the Season Pass after the game’s first delay.
