Though the title usually focuses on the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel’s adventures,Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #30by Mark Waid and Gleb Melnikov will include Wonder Woman. But this issue will give fansa new look at the very first adventure the DC Universe’s Trinity ever went on.

DC Comics to Explore the Trinity’s Origins in New Story
The Trinity is composed of the DC Universe’s three biggest superheroes, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. Each hero is an icon in their own right and the three of them have a bond stronger than most any other group of heroes in the DCU. While the three of them are all founding members of the Justice League, Diana, Clark, and Bruce are the gold standard of heroes even among their peers. Sure, the DC Universe has a lot of amazing heroes on it,but the quality of the Trinity has few if any, true rivals.
The upcoming issue ofBatman/Superman: World’s Finestisn’t the first time the Trinity’s first team-up has been shown. Matt Wagner’s three-issue miniseriesBatman/Superman/Wonder Woman: Trinityhas previously shown one such story. However,Batman/Superman: World’s Finesthas already showcased a few modernized team-ups, such as Bruce and Clark’s first meeting and even the Joker and Lex Luthor’s first partnership. Given the importance she has in both Superman and Batman’s life, it’s only right for the series to explore the duo’s first team-up with Wonder Woman andshow what it is that makes DC Comics' Trinity the special team they are.

DC is Re-Examining Why the Trinity Works
Batman/Superman: World’s Finestis at its best when it showcases why Clark and Bruce work as a team. But Wonder Woman is just as valuable as a hero and a crucial piece of the Trinity. Giving fans a modernized look at her first team-up with Batman and Superman will be a great way of showing what each part of the Trinity brings to the equation and why these three heroes stand out from their peers. It’ll be interesting to see what this new look at the Trinity’s origin will reveal aboutDC Comics’most famous trio.
Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #30is available from DC Comics on August 21st.
