Frank Grillo was first confirmed to be part oftheCreature Commandoscast, voicing the team’s leader Rick Flag Sr. in the DCU’s 2024 animated show. When announcing every project on the DCU’s “Gods and Monsters” slate, Gunn confirmed that every DCU character will be able to appear in both live-action and animated movies and shows, and that the continuity between all formats would be the same. Therefore,Frank Grillo’s live-action appearance inPeacemakerseason 2 will be a direct continuation of his Creature Commandos story.
