IShowSpeed reveals health problems after viral Royal Rumble spot

YouTube star IShowSpeed opened up about his injuries from his viral performance at the WWE Royal Rumble, saying he “genuinely thought” he was “about to die.”

After being called out by Triple H to replace an injured Akira Tozawa, Speed faced off against Bron Brekker in the ring… but despitehis athleticism, he was no match for the pro wrestler, who slammed him into the mat with a brutal spear before tossing him out of the ring.

While Speed is hailed for his athletic talents, it was clear he was outmatched in this arena, leaving the venue in crutches and a neck brace.

The streamer opened up about his injuries in a broadcast on February 17, just over two weeks after getting rocked by Brekker’s spear on live TV, saying he “genuinely” thought he might lose his life.

According to Speed, he suffered from a massive headache, saying he couldn’t even move his body the day after the event.

“The day after Bron Brekker speared me, I had probably one of the worst headaches,” he told his viewers. “I couldn’t move. I thought I was genuinely about to die. Real talk.

“That was maybe one of the craziest, worst experiences ever. I’m being so serious right now.”

Luckily, Speed’s participation in the Rumble paid off big-time, with Triple H saying he wants the streamerback for another match. The YouTuber was even featured in an official trading card commemorating the moment, which broke records on X for themost-liked tweet in WWE history.
