In the post, Midori goes on to state that this information came from multiple sources over a period of months, but that they were sharing the leak release window now. Additionally,Midori teased that “More information on the future of the series will be revealed at a later date.”
More Gameplay & Story Tidbits For KH4 Could Be On The Way
A 2026 release date forKingdom Hearts 4may be disappointing to some fans, especially given that a2025 release window had been reportedly givenas recently as April. It’s not all bad news, however.The 2026 release window would put the fourth entry launching about seven years afterKingdom Hearts 3, a noticeably shorter time period than the 14 years fans had to wait betweenKH2andKH3. Still, it seems increasingly likely there won’t be a newKingdom Heartsgame next year.
The series, which has been known for its many spin-offs, has been in a bit of a dry spell. Beyond a popular mobile title and the rhythm game -Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory- there hasn’t been much beyond rumors happening.
