Mortal Kombat 1 Feb 28 patch notes: Peacemaker compatibility, UMK3 skins & more
MK1’s latest patch adds Peacemaker compatibility and support for select UMK3 skins, according to the February 28 patch notes.
With Peacemaker’s series debut going live in early access, Mortal Kombat 1 developers have rolled out a brand-new update for the game.
The patch – Version 1.003.001 – packs in much more than compatibility for the anti-hero popularized by John Cena, evidenced by its 11GB file size (PS5).It also includes crossplay supportand visual bug fixes, as well as adjustments for online functionality and Invasions mode.
What’s most interesting is that the patch notes further confirm the addition of select Ultimate Mortal Kombat skins.
MK1’s Peacemaker patch notes tease addition of UMK3 skins
The Peacemaker update for Mortal Kombat 1 has officially arrived, ensuring that those who purchase the DLC can make peace without issue.
As mentioned above, this is additionally the patch that unlocks access to cross-platform play between the game’s PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S versions. And unlike in MK11, crossplay will work for Private Versus Matches, Ranked Kombat League, and Kasual Versus matchmaking.
MK1’s Version 1.003.001 also introduces a few new skins (via Store Update), specifically UMK3 designs forScorpion, Reptile, and Smoke. Meanwhile, Sub-Zero gets his MK3 outfit.
Of course, a whole host of character-specific fixes accompany the update, as well.
