The final episode flashes decades into the future, revealing that Mordecai has gotten married and become an artist, Rigby is married to Eileen and has kids, Benson owns the park, and a statue has been erected in honor of Pops' sacrifice.

Plus, Skips is an obvious pick due to his immortal nature.
However, there is one way to bring Mordecai, Rigby, and the rest of the characters back. If the newRegular Showseriestakes place before the season finale’s time jump, some more stories could be told with the original cast before they fully departed ways. While Pops would still be dead, beloved characters like Muscle Man and Benson could come back if the series is set at the original park, with this being the perfect way to interweave the new and oldRegular Showcharacters.
