Summary
School Spiritsseason 2 receives a major filming and cast update. The Paramount+ show follows Maddie Nears (Peyton List), a teenager in Split River, Wisconsin who finds herself in the afterlife, where she interacts with other dead students at her school and attempts to solve her own disappearance. Though she has also made 10 movies so far in her career, her television experience is peppered with recognizable titles, includingCriminal Minds,Shameless,FBI: Most Wanted, andGrey’s Anatomy.

Based on the graphic novel, School Spirits is a supernatural mystery-drama series set in a high-school setting focusing on the afterlife. When teenage Maddie finds herself in the afterlife, she spends her idle time trying to investigate why she went missing. However, her high-school sleuthing leads her down a path that only yields more questions and uncovers a more sinister plot underneath her own demise.
