The Penguin Is After Power
The Penguinwill pick up from whereThe Batmanleft off. Gotham City is still flooded due to the Riddler’s actions. With Paul Dano’s villain having killed Gotham’s kingpin, Carmine Falcone, there is a vacuum of power in the city’s underworld.The Penguinwill focus on Farrell’s Oz Cobb attempting to take Falcone’s role as the leader of Gotham’s organized crime, though he will have to face some challenges to get there.
While Carmine might be dead,The Penguin’s trailer shows that his family is far from done. Both Sofia and Alberto Falcone will play a role in the series, trying to carry on with their father’s legacy, which puts the duo on a direct collision course with the Penguin. Cristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone promises to be the biggest adversary Cobb will face in his attempt to rise to power.
