Where To Find Grayson The Armourer

Travel Through Dangerous Places Filled With Enemies

Before you can face Grayson, you have totravel through several enemy campson the way tothe Bandit Armory where the boss is located. The Armory can be found northwest of the Bandit Copper Mine, another area you may want to clear on your way to Grayson. The Armourer stands at the top of their Armory, above an area with a huge collection of enemies just waiting to attack anyone who enters without permission.

Try to use stealth to take out as many enemies as possible in the bandit camps you come across. Alerting anyone could lead to a massive brawl where Grayson is alerted, especially once you’re within the Bandit Armory.

Unfortunately, there are two bandit enemies next to Graysonthat you won’t be able to take out before the boss fight.

Forcing the Armourer into a 1v1 confrontation gives you the best chance to adapt to the boss' attacks without any distractions.

Grayson has attacks that can pull you into melee range, sotry to stay away from the bosswhen you can. The Armourer has a charge attack that deals massive damage and a ranged move that sends out three axes spinning toward your character. Unlike other bosses like theAlpha Wolf inV Rising, Grayson has named attacks that are activated when he shouts a specific phrase, which includes:

Stay away from the traps by moving carefully through their gaps and waiting for them to despawn or explode away from you.

“I’m going to hammer you out!”

The boss pulls out a hammer that they swing around, knocking back anyone within melee range.

Dash back when you hear this phrase, then leap back toward Grayson once the attack has finished.

“You can’t stop me!”

Grayson summons more Bandit enemy allies to the boss fight.

Focus on the smaller enemies first and take them out before Grayson can recover.

When you finally take down Grayson, you are rewarded with the Crimson Aegis Vampiric Power, a Chaos spell that applies a shield to yourself or an ally you target. You also gain blueprints for the Five-Fingers Workboards, Long Boards, and Assortment of Statues structures. Managing to find and beat Grayson the Armourer inV Risingalso gives you the plans for Whetstones, which are used as an ingredient in other crafting recipes.
